Teachers’ Day was celebrated at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Yaripora Kulgam with extraordinary fervour, enthusiasm and energy. The entire programme was a beautiful blend of discipline, creativity, talent and celebration. Every segment was thoughtfully presented and every performance reflected the confidence and brilliance of our students. The occasion also provided an opportunity to recognise the remarkable achievements of our students. Certificates and trophies were presented to students who excelled in Academics, Sports, Culture and various other fields, celebrating not only their accomplishments but also the dedication and perseverance behind them.
*🏆 A MOMENT OF PARTICULAR PRIDE*
The highlight of the celebration was the felicitation of our two brilliant NEET qualifiers, who successfully qualified the NEET examination this year. Their achievement brought immense pride and joy to the entire institution. But their success carried a deeper story. As they spoke about their journey, memories of their classroom days came alive. And there stood the name of a teacher who had left a lasting imprint on their academic lives: *Mr Mujeeb Ul Yousuf.* Known for his strictness, discipline and uncompromising commitment to academic excellence, Mujeeb Sir demanded the best from his students. His classroom was not merely a place where lessons were taught. It was a place where habits were built, standards were raised and discipline was transformed into determination.
*Today, the success of his students offers a powerful reflection: What once felt like strictness became discipline.*
*What became discipline turned into consistency.*
*What became consistency ultimately opened the door to success.*
And perhaps that is one of the most beautiful truths about teaching:

The celebration also witnessed heartfelt appreciation from the *Principal, Mr Mateen Ahmad Shah* who acknowledged the sincere efforts of everyone involved in making the programme a memorable success. Special appreciation was extended to *Mr Khurshid Alam and Mr Khurshid* for their commendable efforts and dedicated contribution. The Principal also placed on record his appreciation for the *Vice Principal Mr Bilal Ahmad Itoo* whose vision, coordination and tireless efforts were instrumental in bringing the entire programme together. From academic excellence to sporting achievements, from cultural brilliance to NEET success, the celebration beautifully demonstrated that when committed teachers nurture determined students, institutions become places where dreams are transformed into achievements.

Today another deeply emotional and heart touching segment was presented by *APJ House at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Yaripora.* The programme featured a soul stirring poem dedicated to fathers, beautifully portraying their unconditional love, silent sacrifices and the countless hardships they willingly endure to provide a better life for their children. The moving *poem* was presented with remarkable expression by our brilliant student *Basima Ramzan.* *Her heartfelt performance created an atmosphere of complete silence as every member of the audience became deeply absorbed in the emotions conveyed through the verses. Many were visibly touched as the poem reminded them of the priceless role and endless sacrifices of their own fathers.* We pray that Almighty Allah blesses all the fathers who are with us with good health, happiness and a long life. May He grant His infinite mercy and Maghfirah to all those fathers who have departed from this world. A special note of appreciation goes to *Dr. Tawseef Sb* for his thoughtful direction and guidance in presenting this remarkable performance. Such meaningful programmes not only enrich our cultural and literary environment but also strengthen the values of gratitude, respect and compassion among our students.

Today a powerful and deeply emotional Kashmiri Nazm was presented by the APJ House in remembrance of mothers. The soulful performance touched the hearts of everyone present and created a beautiful atmosphere filled with emotions, memories and appreciation for the priceless bond between a mother and her child. The heartfelt verses and melodious presentation mesmerised the audience. The performance was so touching that our respected Principal Sir also became deeply emotional and appreciated the beautiful expression of love and gratitude towards mothers. Everyone enjoyed and cherished the meaningful presentation. Such programmes reflect the creativity, sensitivity and cultural connection of our students. We congratulate the APJ House for organising such inspiring programmes that not only showcase the talent of students but also convey powerful messages through art and culture. Special thanks and appreciation to Lecturer Dr Tawseef Ahmad for his remarkable contribution behind this beautiful presentation. His dedication, guidance, creative efforts, composition and meticulous management played a vital role in making this programme a memorable and emotional experience for everyone.

*Glorious Victory for Government Girls Higher Secondary School Yaripora*

A great moment of pride and honour for Government Girls Higher Secondary School Yaripora was witnessed when the U/19 Girls Volleyball Team emerged victorious in the Inter-District Volleyball Tournament 2026–27 against Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kulgam, winning the match by 2–0 sets.
The talented players displayed remarkable sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline and determination throughout the tournament and brought laurels to the institution with their outstanding performance.
The winning team was efficiently coached and guided by Mr. Alhamdulllah Sahab (PM) and Mr. Sheeraz Sahab (PT), whose dedication and continuous support played a vital role in this grand achievement.
On their arrival at the school, the victorious team was warmly welcomed and felicitated by the worthy Principal Sir, Mr. Mateen Ahmad Shah, and Vice Principal, Mr. Bilal Ahmad Itoo, along with the staff members and students. The atmosphere of the was filled with joy, excitement and applause as everyone celebrated the memorable victory.
The worthy Principal Sir congratulated the players and the coaches for their hard work and encouraged students to actively participate in sports and co-curricular activities along with academics.

Today, under the dynamic leadership of *Mr. Mateen Ahmad Shah,* the much awaited *third edition of the school magazine HAYA (2025–26)* was formally released at GGHSS Yaripora in a grand and dignified ceremony.

The occasion was graced by the esteemed *Chief Guest, Chief Education Officer Kulgam,* along with distinguished guests including the *Principals of GHSS Hanger, GHSS Yaripora, GHSS Bugam and GHSS Frisal.*

The programme was gracefully hosted by Vice Principal *Mr. Bilal Ahmad Itoo,* who conducted the proceedings with elegance and excellence.

During the ceremony, members of the *editorial board* shared their valuable reflections. *Mr. Khurshid Aalam and Umair Ul Umar* highlighted the dedication, patience and relentless effort required in editing the magazine. They spoke about the months of hard work invested in shaping *HAYA* into a meaningful literary platform.

The *Chief Education Officer Kulgam* delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the significance of school magazines in nurturing creativity, confidence and intellectual growth among students. He encouraged the young learners to come forward, express themselves and actively participate in literary and academic pursuits.

A special *Magazine stall* was also established by the Admission Section, efficiently managed by *Mr. Sartaj Ibrahim, Mr. Reyaz Ahmad and Mr. Gulzar Ahmad.* The stall added further value to the programme by guiding visitors and sharing important academic information.

Also the *Physical Wing* had prepared the students headed by *Mr Ahmadullah and Mr Sheeraz Ahmad.* They were with full swing. They added the flavour to the overall program

And the men behind the Screen are none other than *MTS.* They played vital role in the overall function.

At the conclusion of the event, *Principal Sir Mr. Mateen Ahmad Shah* presented the *vote of thanks* to all the dignitaries, staff members and contributors who worked tirelessly for the successful publication of the magazine.

Overall, it was a memorable and magnificent day as the third edition of HAYA was unveiled with pride and honour.
