As part of the series of activities organized to celebrate World Environment Week, a Quiz Competition was held today at HSS DK Marg. A large number of students participated enthusiastically and displayed keen interest in the event.
The quiz comprised different rounds featuring questions related to environmental conservation, biodiversity, climate change, sustainable development, pollution control, and various environmental issues. The participants actively engaged in the competition and demonstrated their knowledge and awareness of environmental concerns.
The main objective of the event was to create awareness among students about the importance of environmental protection, promote eco-friendly practices, and encourage them to become responsible citizens committed to preserving nature. The programme also aimed to enhance students' understanding of current environmental challenges and inspire them to contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
The event concluded successfully with active participation from students and appreciation from the staff members. Such activities play a vital role in fostering environmental consciousness among young learners.

Today, under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA), a pledge ceremony was conducted at Higher Secondary School DK Marg to create awareness against drug abuse and promote a healthy, disciplined, and drug-free society. Students and staff took the pledge with commitment and enthusiasm, reaffirming their responsibility towards building a better and addiction-free future.

Today, on 06-05-2026, Mr. Abdul Majeed Rangrez Sir assumed charge as the Principal of HSS DK Marg.
