سنے کون قصہ دردِ دل میرا غمگسار چلا گیا
جسے آشناؤں کا پاس تھا ،وہ وفا شعار چلا گیا

وہی بزم ہے وہی دھوم ہے ،وہی عاشقوں کا ہجوم ہے
ہے کمی تو بس میرے چاند کی ،جو تہہ مزار چلا گیا

وہ سخن شناس وہ دور بیں، وہ گدا نواز وہ مہ جبیں
وہ حسیں وہ بحر ِعلوم دیں، میرا تاجدار چلا گیا

کہاں اب سخن میں وہ گرمیاں کہ نہیں رہا کوئی قدرداں
کہاں اب وہ شوق میں مستیاں کہ وہ پر وقار چلا گیا

جسے میں سناتا تھا دردِ دل وہ جو پوچھتا تھا غمِ دروں
وہ گدا نواز بچھڑ گیا ،وہ عطا شعار چلا گیا

بہیں کیوں نصیر نہ اشکِ غم ،رہے کیوں نہ لب پر میرے فغاں
ہمیں بےقرار وہ چھوڑ کر سر راہ گزار چلا گیا

مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَىَّ صَلاَةً وَاحِدَةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرَ صَلَوَاتٍ وَحُطَّتْ عَنْهُ عَشْرُ خَطِيئَاتٍ وَرُفِعَتْ لَهُ عَشْرُ دَرَجَاتٍ
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever sends salah upon me once, Allah (SWT) will send salah upon him tenfold, and will erase ten sins from him, and will raise him ten degrees in status."

عن أبي يعلى شداد بن أوس - رضي الله عنه - عن النَّبيّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَ: «الكَيِّسُ مَنْ دَانَ نَفْسَهُ، وَعَمِلَ لِمَا بعدَ المَوتِ، والعَاجِزُ مَنْ أتْبَعَ نَفْسَهُ هَواهَا وَتَمنَّى عَلَى اللهِ». رواه الترمذي، وَقالَ: «حديث حسن».

It was narrated from Abu Ya’la Shaddad bin Aws that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“The wise man is the one who takes account of himself and strives for that which is after death. And the helpless man is the one who follows his own whims then indulges in wishful thinking about Allah.”
