“O you who believe! Do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying, nor in a state of major impurity—except while passing through—until you have washed. And if you are ill, or on a journey, or one of you comes from relieving himself, or you have touched women and cannot find water, then perform tayammum with clean earth and wipe your faces and hands. Indeed, Allah is Ever Pardoning, Most Forgiving.”
(4:43)

“Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scripture, purchasing error and wishing that you would lose the way?”

“And if you fear a breach between the two, appoint an arbiter from his people and an arbiter from her people. If they both desire reconciliation, Allah will cause it between them. Indeed, Allah is Ever Knowing and Aware.”

“Allah wants to make clear to you and guide you to the ways of those before you and to accept your repentance. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.”

“And whoever among you cannot afford to marry free believing women, then marry from those whom your right hands possess of believing women. Allah knows best about your faith. You are of one another. So marry them with the permission of their people and give them their due compensation in a fair manner, desiring chastity, not unlawful relations. And once they are married, if they commit immorality, then for them is half the punishment of free women. This is for those who fear falling into sin. But to be patient is better for you. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.”

“Also forbidden to you are all married women (muhsanat) except those women whom your right hands have come to possess (as a result of war). This is Allah's decree and it is binding upon you. But it is lawful for you to seek out all women except these, offering them your wealth and the protection of wedlock rather than using them for the unfettered satisfaction of lust. And give bridal-due of those whom you have enjoyed in wedlock as an obligation. But there is no blame on you if you mutually agree to alter the settlement after it has been made. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.”

“And do not marry women whom your fathers married, except what has already passed. Indeed, it was an immorality, hateful, and an evil way.”
(4:22)

“Forbidden to you are your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your paternal aunts, your maternal aunts, your brother’s daughters, your sister’s daughters, your foster mothers who nursed you, your foster sisters, your wives’ mothers, your stepdaughters under your guardianship born of wives with whom you have consummated marriage—but if you have not consummated the marriage, there is no sin upon you—and the wives of your sons from your own loins, and that you take two sisters together in marriage, except what has already passed. Indeed, Allah is Ever Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

“O you who believe! It is not lawful for you to inherit women by compulsion. Do not treat them harshly in order to take away part of what you have given them, unless they commit a clear immorality. Live with them in kindness. If you dislike them, it may be that you dislike something in which Allah has placed much good.”
(4:19)

“But if you want to replace one wife with another and you have given one of them a great amount, do not take anything back from it. Would you take it unjustly and in clear sin?”
(4:20)

“And how could you take it back while you have gone in unto each other and they have taken from you a solemn covenant?”
(4:21)

“But Allah only accepts the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and then repent soon after. It is they to whom Allah will turn in forgiveness. And Allah is Ever Knowing, Most Wise.”

“But repentance is not accepted from those who continue to do evil until death faces one of them and he says, ‘Now I repent,’ nor from those who die while they are disbelievers. For them We have prepared a painful punishment.”
