Uthangarai Adhiyaman Public School Wins 'India Top School' Award
Adhiyaman Public School, which operates in Uthangarai, has been presented with the prestigious "India Top School Award 2026" (IKA-2026, Bengaluru) for excellence in the category of "Promoting Experiential Learning Programs."
The founder and chairman of Adhiyaman Public School, Professor Dr. Thirumal Murugan Srinivasan, received this award on behalf of the institution.
The award ceremony took place on September 9, 2026, as part of the ELDROK India Expo 2026 held at the EBISU Convention Centre in Bengaluru. The event was organized by LiveLife Education and ELDROK India.
Generally, Adhiyaman Public School continuously makes various efforts to provide education through direct experiences that go beyond traditional classroom methods. It is reported that modern methods such as learning through exploration, experimentation, group work, and applying knowledge to real-life situations are encouraged in the school based on experiential learning.
Through this, skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, self-confidence, and leadership are developed in students.
Expressing gratitude to the organizers on receiving the award, the school management stated that this award is a recognition of the collective effort of the school's students, teachers, parents, and the entire management.

Under the leadership of Professor Dr. Thirumal Murugan Srinivasan, Adhiyaman Public School continues to focus on introducing new learning methods, improving digital infrastructure, integrating technology, and developing continuous communication English skills, alongside holistic experiential learning for students.
The school principal noted that the school's educational vision is designed to prepare students to face future challenges by integrating the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 framework, which emphasizes activity-based, experiential, and student-centric learning methods.
The principal added that education is not limited strictly to textbooks and exams, but is viewed by the school as a means to develop students' knowledge, talent, self-confidence, creativity, sense of responsibility, and life skills.
The principal further mentioned that winning the India Top School Award 2026 serves as a major milestone in their educational journey and acts as a national-level recognition for the innovative educational efforts undertaken at Adhiyaman Public School, Uthangarai.
Dr. Shobha Thirumal Murugan, Secretary of Adhiyaman Institutions, congratulated the school principal, teachers, coordinators, administrative staff, students, and parents, highlighting that this success is a testament to their collective effort.
