Krishnagar Women's College is proud to share that Smt. Payel Kundu, Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy, recently served as the Resource Person for a state-level awareness programme organized by Plassey College.

The session, conducted in a blended mode on 15th September, centered around the vital theme "Preventing Child Marriage: Challenges, Strategies and Solution." The event was jointly organized by the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), and the Women Cell in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Plassey College.

During the session, Prof. Kundu shared valuable insights on the systemic hurdles surrounding child marriage and emphasized key strategies for community action and girl-child empowerment. We congratulate her on representing our institution so meaningfully in this crucial social discourse.
