Stepping Out into the World with Confidence

The Travancore Education and Research Centre on Ageing (TERCA) successfully hosted the Graduation Ceremony for students of the Skill Training Programme and Certification Course in Gerontology.

The ceremony was inaugurated by Dr. Suja Kunnath, Executive Director, National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH), and presided over by Dr. Renu Abraham Varughese, Managing Director, TERCA.

The event also marked the launch of the inaugural edition of TERCA Chronicles, the newsletter platform for sharing insights on ageing.

TERCA also celebrated the achievements of graduates from diverse disciplines, all committed to advancing quality care for older adults.

Congratulations to all our graduates stepping out to make a difference in eldercare.

We are pleased to announce a new academic partnership between Travancore Education and Research Centre on Ageing (TERCA) and Rajagiri College of Management and Applied Sciences, Kakkanad.

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will facilitate add-on courses, collaborative research, and on-the-job training opportunities, strengthening academic and practical exposure in the field of Gerontology.

The MoU was formally signed by Mr. Jiji Philip, Director, TERCA, and Dr. Laly Mathew, Principal, RCMAS. The occasion was also attended by Dr. Smijo Sebastian, Dr. Surya Krishna, Kavitha Krishnadas, and Mathew K Varghese.

We look forward to meaningful academic collaboration and creating impactful learning opportunities for students and professionals in gerontology.

A new milestone in TERCA’s journey.

We are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Travancore Education and Research Centre on Ageing (TERCA) and St. Thomas Arts and Science College, Puthencruz, Ernakulam. This collaboration marks the beginning of a strategic academic partnership focusing on existing and new academic programmes, faculty exchange, fieldwork training, research initiatives, and community-oriented activities in the field of gerontology.

The MoU was formally signed by Mr. Jiji Philip, Director, TERCA, and Dr. Reji M. A., Principal, St. Thomas Arts and Science College, at Rahel Homes, Kolenchery.

We are confident that this partnership will open new avenues for meaningful, academically enriching, and practice-oriented engagements in the field of gerontology.
