Jyothis School For Children With Challenges -9447200312 Started in 2002, the school addresses special education needs of these children, provides developmental therapies and parent education on disability.

The aim of the school is to induce growth, developmental training, education and to create an enriched environment for those disabled children to develop, learn, function and live as social beings. ‘Jyothis’, a Developmental Training School for children having Cerebral Palsy, Autism,Hyper activity, MR and other developmental disabilities is unique in the district functioning for the last 18
years

. The Trust runs two schools at Kottayam and Palai and together has a total strength of 46 children. Due to non-accessibility and deprived of a structured training environment, many children with childhood disabilities are not able to develop their abilities and skills to live as a potential human being in the society. Today it is seen that a good number of boys & girls with Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities are leading a socially disadvantaged life both at micro and macro levels. The parents of these children are constantly worried about their ward’s future and security.

ജീവിതത്തിലെ സകല വിഷമങ്ങളും മറന്ന് മാതാപിതാക്കൾക്ക് ആടാനും പാടാനും അറബിക്കടലിൻ്റെ ഭംഗി ആസ്വദിക്കുവാനും, സുഖമായ ഭക്ഷണം ഒരുക്കുവാനും എല്ലാത്തിനും ഉപരി ജ്യോതിസ്സിലെ ദിവ്യാംഗരായ കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ആഹ്ലാദം പകരുവാനും മറ്റും ഈ വിനോദയാത്ര കൊണ്ട് സാധിച്ചു.
