The scheme of studies, the scheme of examinations and the course of study prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi are strictly followed. Text books prepared by the national Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi are used as per direction of CBSE. The medium of instruction is English. Continuous and comprehensive evaluation (CCE)
Continuous and comprehensive evaluation (CCE) refers to a system of school based evaluation of students that covers all aspects of a student’s development. It aims at creating good citizens possessing sound health, appropriate skills and desirable qualities besides academic excellence. As per CCE an academic year will have two semesters. In CCE both scholastic and co-scholastic aspects will be analyzed. Scholastic assessment includes formative and summative assessment. The formative assessment (FA) is carried out during a course of instruction and summative assessment at the end of each semester. The weightages for various assessments are : 10% for FA1, 10% for FA2, 30% for SAI (Total 50% in semester –I), 10% for FA3, 10% for FA4 and 30% for SA2(total 50% in semester –II).. The overall grade will be decided on the basis of the performance in both the semesters. Co-scholastic assessment includes the assessment of learners’ Life skill, attitudes, interests, values, co-curricular activities and physical health.
