This esteemed institution was started by our honorable Justice P.J Varghese in 1924. He contributed the institution to the Malankara Marthoma Sabha. Now it is running under the Marthoma Co-operate management. Started as a middle school with only 18 students in the first batch, the school now has more than 200 students. sir was the first headmaster of the UP section. Later, the UP and LP sections were joined together under the name St.George's UP School. Now the school is under the leadership of Smt. K.O. Mariama. The school is blessed with the service since 1998. The schools contribution in the social and economic fields of the society is progressing for the last 90 years. Our former Home minister Sri. P.T Chacko's primary education was in this school. Sri P.M Thomas of the Food Corporation of India, Kanjirapally Diocession Bishop Rt- Rev.
