IELTS mein score achha tha, lekin PTE mein struggle ho raha hai? 🤔

Aapki English weak hona zaroori nahi hai. IELTS aur PTE English ko measure karne ka way alag hai. 🎯

IELTS mein aapko assessment criteria aur band descriptors ke basis par evaluate kiya jata hai, jabki PTE mein task-specific performance, pronunciation, fluency, accuracy aur multiple skills ke combined scoring ka role important hota hai.

Isliye IELTS mein good score ka matlab yeh nahi ki PTE automatically easy hoga. 💡

In this carousel, learn:

Why do many healthcare professionals still miss Grade B in OET—even when their medical knowledge is strong? 🩺

Because OET is not only about knowing medicine. It’s about communicating medical information clearly, professionally, and effectively in English.

To improve your OET score, focus on:

✔ Patient communication
✔ Explaining medical information in simple language
✔ Understanding OET assessment criteria
✔ Practising relevant Writing tasks
✔ Improving professional English skills
✔ Getting feedback on your communication

Your medical knowledge is the foundation. 🏥
But your English communication skills help you demonstrate that knowledge in the OET exam.

🎯 Don’t just study medicine. Train your healthcare English.

DON’T JUST LEARN ENGLISH. LEARN HOW YOUR EXAM SCORES ENGLISH. 🎯

Preparing for IELTS, PTE, or OET? One English skill can be assessed in completely different ways depending on the exam.

🟠 IELTS → Focus on Band Descriptors
🔵 PTE → Focus on task performance and scoring
🟢 OET → Focus on professional communication in a healthcare context

That’s why using the same preparation strategy for every exam can affect your score. 📚

The key is to understand how your exam evaluates you, know the assessment criteria, and practice the right exam-specific tasks.

In OET Writing, more information does not mean a better letter. 🩺📝

The key is knowing what to include, what to leave out, and what the reader actually needs to know.

✔ Select relevant information
✔ Organise your letter clearly
✔ Focus on the purpose
✔ Write for the reader

💡 Remember: The same patient can have different OET letters because the purpose and reader can be different.

Don’t copy every detail from the case notes. Select smartly and write with purpose.
