Investiture Ceremony 2026–27

We proudly conducted the Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 in the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Dr. Nandyala Narsimha Reddy, Director Mrs. T. Nivedita Shivakumar, and Principal
Mrs. Jagdishwari Nataraj.

The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp and hoisting of the flags, followed by an impressive March Past by the four houses Aryabhatta, C. V. Raman, Chanakya, and Sushrutha. The newly elected student leaders were honoured with the pinning of badges, symbolizing their responsibilities and commitment.

In his inspiring address, Dr. Nandyala Narsimha Reddy encouraged students to lead with integrity, confidence, and dedication.
The event was a proud celebration of leadership, discipline, and service.

GD Goenka School Hyderabad is privileged to welcome Sri Dr. Nandyala Narsimha Reddy, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (SOT), Malkajgiri Commissionerate, Telangana Police, as the Chief Guest for our Investiture Ceremony 2026–27.

A distinguished officer known for his dedication to law enforcement, leadership, and community service, his presence will inspire our young leaders as they embark on their journey of responsibility, integrity, and excellence.

We are honoured to have him join us on this special occasion as we celebrate the appointment of our Student Council and reaffirm our commitment to nurturing future leaders.

Creativity took shape in the hands of our Grade X students! 🎨✨

As part of their club activity, students participated in a pottery session where they explored their artistic side through hands-on learning. The experience was both fun and enriching, allowing them to create, learn, and express themselves in unique ways.

Our Grade 10 students explored the fascinating world of Chemistry through a hands-on activity on Chemical Reactions and Equations 🧪🔥

They observed a combination reaction by burning magnesium wire under a Bunsen flame, which produced magnesium oxide. Students also performed a thermal decomposition reaction by heating lead nitrate in a test tube. This experiment resulted in the formation of reddish-brown nitrogen dioxide gas and lead oxide, helping them clearly understand how substances break down when heated.

Through these experiments, students not only learned the concepts but also experienced the excitement of observing chemical reactions in real time, making science both engaging and meaningful.

Celebrating strength, spirit, and togetherness this International Women’s Day! 🌸🏅

On 8th March, Soul Sportza, the sports club of G D Goenka Hyderabad, hosted a special sports activity to celebrate the incredible women in our community. With great enthusiasm, parents stepped onto the field and participated in a variety of sports activities, showcasing energy, determination, and team spirit.

It was truly a joy to watch them run, jump, and play with passion, while their children cheered them on with excitement and pride. The event created a wonderful atmosphere of encouragement, bonding, and celebration.
