EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
i) For CT / Driver: Matriculation / 10th class pass or equivalent. Candidates should possess “Transport Vehicle” driving license.
ii) For CT / Fitter: Matriculate or 10 class pass in 10+2 examination system.
Candidates should possess 02 years Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle and one year practical experience in the field of concerned trade OR National or State apprenticeship certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle Trade of three year duration and one year practical experience in the field of concerned trade
iii) For rest of all Tradesman: Matriculation / 10th class pass or equivalent. Candidates must be proficient and worked in respective trades.
PHYSICAL STANDARD:
Height:
(i) Male- 170 cms (162.5 cms for ST candidates and 160 cms for hill areas candidates) and
(ii) Female- 157 cms (150 cms for ST candidates and 147.5 cms for hill areas candidates)
Chest (Unexpanded / expended) (For male candidates only): 80 cms / 85 cms respectively (76 cms /81 cms respectively in case of ST candidates and 78 cms and 83 cms in case of hill area candidates)
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes. They must be in good mental and physical health for duties in all places including in high altitude and be fit to serve in border areas with extreme climatic conditions and must be free from any defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline):
(i) For CT / Diver: Between 21 years to 27 years as on 01.01.2016
(ii) For rest of all other posts: Between 18 years to 23 years as on 01.01.2016. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Pay Scales (For all above posts/discipline): Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay – Grade Pay Rs 2000/- per month.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Test, Trade Test and Medical examination. which will be held at Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh on 15/05/2016
