NELSON:

It is coined after Admiral Horatio Nelson. He was a flag officer in the Royal Navy. Known as a fighter he lost one eye, one arm, and one leg. And that’s how the one-one-one became a Nelson.

ORIGIN OF THE NELSON IN CRICKET:
The cricketing fraternity has different opinions about who brought the Nelson term in cricket. New Zealand had a first-class team named Nelson from 1874 to 1891. The poetic justice struck as they were bowled out on 111 in their first inning in their first match as well as in the last inning of their final match.

The Legend or myth of Nelson in cricket continued to grow and transcended generations from thereon. However, it was umpire David Shepherd who made it famous.He would raise his foot off the ground whenever the score would be 111 or in multiples of it. Watching him hopping on one leg when the score was 111 or multiples of it was a sight to behold.

COINCIDENCE AT ITS BEST:

In November 2011, a test between South Africa and Australia had a bizarre part of the play. The Protea team needed 111 at 11.11 on the clock. The month was 11 and the year was 2011. The Broadcasting team asked the fans in the stadium to hop on one leg. The on-field umpire Ian Gould joined the party as well.

We may be busy watching two teenagers in the US Open Women's Championship putting on a stiff battle. The scores in the game of tennis use different terms. One of them being 'Love all".The term is not mentioned asking the two participants to like each other . In this case it comes from the French word 'l'oeuf meaning "an egg".In many sports, the egg is frequently used to symbolise 'zero'.Various sports use different terms to say zero. Therefore in tennis, when the umpire shouts 'love all', what he means is that score is 'zero all' __ neither player 😊has scored a point.

Does it Work?

1.33/6 ,Remainder =3
2.999/6 ,Remainder = 3
3. 2727/6 ,Remainder = 3

Yes it Does
So Let's Start our Application

1. (9^1+9^2+9^3+9^4+9^5+9^6) /6
We know each power of 9 will give a number of 3.As we are looking at powers of 9 six times. Each one would give 3 as a remainder.
So it's (3+3+3+3+3+3) /6 or 6(3) /6
Both of this gives the remainder as 0.

2.(3^1 +33^2+333^3+3333^4........33 terms )/6
We know each of the terms will give a remainder 3.
3^1/6 remainder =3
33^2/6 1089/6 remainder =3 & so on each gives a remainder 3.
We have 33 terms so it's 33*3=99
99/6, Remainder =3

3.(27^1+27^2+27^3+27^4+27^5+27^6.........47 terms )/6
We know each of the terms will give a remainder 3. 27^1/6 remainder =3
27^2/6 729/6 remainder =3 & so on each gives a remainder 3.
We have 47 terms so it's 47*3= 141/6
Remainder =3.
