Good manners begin with little habits! Our young learners participated in an engaging Table Etiquette Activity, where they learnt the importance of good table manners and dining etiquette in a fun and practical way.
The children were introduced to the correct use of hanky, napkin/tissue, spoon, fork and other dining essentials. They learnt how to sit properly at the table, use cutlery appropriately, keep their surroundings clean, chew food politely, avoid wasting food, and practise saying “Please,” “Thank You,” and “Excuse Me.”
Through this hands-on activity, our little ones learnt that mealtime is not just about eating—it is also about good manners, cleanliness, sharing, patience and respect for others.

Good habits lay the foundation for responsible and caring individuals! 🌈 The students of Class III, DAV Public School Kota, enthusiastically participated in a meaningful Behavioural Activity designed to promote positive habits and respectful behaviour. Through engaging and fun-filled activities, the children learned important lessons such as no littering, no pushing, no spitting, using polite words, waiting for their turn, and respecting others.

The activity was conducted under the inspiring guidance of our respected Principal, Ms. Pallavi Arora, whose constant encouragement motivates our young learners to imbibe good values and become responsible citizens. ✨

The activity beautifully reinforced the message that good behaviour begins with small actions and thoughtful choices.

DAV Public School, Kota, organised a Curriculum Meet for the parents of students from Nursery to Class II. The meet provided a wonderful opportunity for parents and teachers to come together and understand the learning journey, curriculum, teaching methodologies and various activities planned for our young learners.

The interaction strengthened the beautiful partnership between home and school, ensuring that every child continues to learn, grow and blossom happily.

A small handout was also presented to the parents as a token of our partnership in nurturing and guiding our little learners.

Celebrating the Architects of Tomorrow |
Teachers’ Day at DAV Public School, Kota

“A teacher plants the seeds of knowledge, nurtures dreams and inspires a lifetime of possibilities.”

Teachers’ Day at DAV Public School, Kota was celebrated with exuberance, gratitude and heartfelt admiration. A special assembly unfolded into a vibrant cultural extravaganza, with soulful songs, graceful dances and an engaging skit that reflected the students’ creativity, affection and reverence for their teachers.

The Student Council expressed its heartfelt gratitude and admiration for our respected Principal, Mrs. Pallavi Arora, presenting her with handmade cards, a bouquet and a beautifully crafted sketch—thoughtful tokens that reflected the students’ deep affection and regard for her.

Her tireless efforts, meticulous planning, visionary leadership and remarkable zeal to nurture excellence have continually inspired the entire school fraternity. Her unwavering commitment to providing students with enriching opportunities and fostering a culture of creativity, discipline and holistic growth has been a constant source of motivation for all.

The students also expressed their appreciation to the entire teaching fraternity through flowers and thoughtfully designed bookmarks carrying messages of gratitude.

Head Boy Vansh Jain and Junior Head Girl Ahana eloquently voiced the students’ admiration for their mentors. The programme was confidently compered by the students, whose enthusiasm and impeccable presentation added to the splendour of the celebration.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Mrs. Pallavi Arora lauded the staff for their unwavering commitment, dedication and devotion to the noble profession of teaching. Her words of appreciation and blessings further inspired the entire school fraternity.

The celebration continued with a grand staff luncheon, graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Vice Chairman Shri M. L. Patodi Ji. The gathering came alive with melodious performances by the music maestros of DAV Kota, stand-up comedy, housie and a host of entertaining games.

Music, laughter, dance and camaraderie transformed the day into a beautiful celebration of togetherness.

Raksha Sutra Bandhan Activity

A vibrant and soulful Raksha Sutra Bandhan Activity was organized on 27th August, 2026 at DAV Public School, Talwandi, Kota with great zeal and fervour.

The objective of the activity was to instill the values of mutual respect, affection, belongingness and harmony among students. On this occasion, students lovingly tied Raksha Sutras to one another, conveying a profound message of care, unity and togetherness. These sacred threads were not merely threads; every fibre of it narrated a beautiful story of love, trust and bonding.

The campus was filled with joy, warmth and the spirit of brotherhood.

On this occasion, Principal Mrs. Pallavi Arora appreciated the efforts of the students and said that such activities are the need of the hour in today's society. She emphasized that true education lies in fostering mutual respect, cooperation and empathy among students.

She concluded with an inspiring thought: "Relationships are not woven with threads, but with love, trust and respect that bind hearts forever."

Heritage Quiz Competition

A stimulating Heritage Quiz Competition was organized on 25th August, 2026 at DAV Public School, Talwandi, Kota among the four Houses - Dayanand, Hansraj, Shraddhanand and Gurudutt.

The main objective of the competition was to connect the students with India's rich civilization, culture and its timeless legacy of traditions and heritage. The quiz helped students understand that heritage is not just the past, but a living legacy we carry forward.

The students answered with great confidence and enthusiasm and showcased their in-depth knowledge.

The competition was very interesting. Dayanand House bagged the First position, Shraddhanand House secured the Second position and Hansraj House got the Third position.

On this occasion, Principal Mrs. Pallavi Arora said that such competitions enhance general knowledge and make students more aware of their rich cultural legacy and surroundings. She congratulated all the winners.

She concluded with inspiring words: "A nation's culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people.

Celebrating Creativity, Culture and the Spirit of Togetherness

A vibrant and culturally enriching Sacred Thread Making Competition was organised at DAV Public School, Kota for the students of Classes III to VII. The activity provided the young learners with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, artistic skills and cultural awareness through the thoughtful and colourful creation of sacred threads.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation as students explored their imagination and transformed simple materials into beautiful, meaningful sacred threads. The activity not only encouraged artistic expression and fine-motor skills, but also helped students appreciate the values of love, bonding, respect and togetherness associated with the sacred thread.
The entire activity was conducted under the able guidance and inspiring leadership of our respected Principal Ma’am, Ms Pallavi Arora, whose constant encouragement motivates students to participate wholeheartedly in diverse creative and experiential learning activities.
The competition was a delightful blend of tradition, creativity and joyful learning, leaving the students with a sense of accomplishment and cherished memories.
