Library Orientation Programme - 2025
The Central Library of Central University of Odisha successfully organized an Orientation Programme to familiarize newly admitted students with the Library’s collections, digital resources, research databases, and user services. The programme was designed to promote information literacy, encourage effective utilization of scholarly resources, and support academic and research excellence within the University.

The session featured an address by Dr. Bijayananda Pradhan, who highlighted the importance of academic integrity, responsible use of information, and the role of the Library in fostering a strong research culture. Valuable insights were also shared by Dr. Rudra Narayan and Mr. Mukunda Khilo, who elaborated on access procedures, available facilities, and user support mechanisms.

The programme was conducted with the cooperation and dedicated support of four Library Trainees and the Library Attendant, whose collective efforts contributed significantly to the successful organization of the event.
