Established in 1976 and run by the Nediyiruppu Muslim Educational Socialization P P M Higher Secondary School has been playing a pivotal role in disseminating knowledge and uplifting the backward ineducational, cultural and social spheres. In its germinal stage it had three divisions with 112 students. In course of years it has surprisingly sprawled to cater the educational needs of 4000 students
with 55 divisions. The Higher secondary section had started in the year 2000 -2001 with three batches ie Two Science (Biology), one Humanities (Statistics). In the year 2002 it broadened its strength with three additional batches that is Computer science, Sociology and Commerce respectively. At Higher secondary level there are around 800 students. There is a strength of 150 staff in the school who monitor and foster the needs and aspirations of the young learners. To cop with the present curriculum, the school has setup an I T lab which is said to be one of the best I T labs in the state. School’s digital library and language lab are yet another ventures that all set to start functioning shortly. The school has coveted track records both at curricular and co-curricular level to testify its name and fame. The district Panchayath trophy to honour schools with highest pass percent in the district has been with P P M Higher Secondary School for the last 9 years. The consistency of proud achievements at higher secondary level adds laurels to the overall fame of the school. Dr. Mohiyidheen overalling trophy sponsored by the state Arabic unit of Public Education given to the school having the highest percent with Arabic as the first language was another recognition the school can feel proud of.
