The Light of Future – Digital Skills Training Programme for NCC Cadets
The Light of Future is a digital skills empowerment programme designed exclusively for NCC cadets of EMEA College of Arts and Science, Kondotty. Led by Capt. (Dr.) Abdul Rasheed P., Assistant Professor of English and Associate NCC Officer, the programme aims to equip cadets with essential digital competencies required for academic success, professional development, and leadership in the digital age.
The training covers practical applications of MS Office (Word and Excel), Canva, Google Drive, Google Docs, LinkedIn, and other productivity tools that are increasingly important in higher education and the workplace. In addition to the orientation and demonstration sessions, cadets will undergo follow-up hands-on practical training in the Computer Science Lab, enabling them to gain real-world experience and confidence in using these digital tools effectively.
The programme seeks to empower cadets to become digitally competent, innovative, and future-ready citizens by helping them learn essential tools, create impactful content, and connect with opportunities in the modern world.
