The concept of beauty is an ambiguous phenomenon.Some find beauty to be a physical attribute while others regard it as a matter of intellectual comprehension.For an epicurean , beauty never filters underneath human skin whereas for a grave thinker it is always skin-deep.It can always be argued as to which of these two perspectives is worth assimilation in life.I feel we cannot choose one and discard the other altogether.This is so because we are neither only a physical entity nor are we just brooding sage.We are both - the mind and the body.So,if we say we can turn a blind eye to physical beauty,we end up deceiving ourselves.On the other hand,and at times far more subtle, vistas of beauty.Hence,there is no harm in believing the dictum that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder,for,after all,it gives you an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of all that your eye beholds and mind observes
