Look at that beauty.... More than a month of intense learning on the Christmas fruit cake.... Have already read quite a few details in Kitchen Kemistry by Cheryl R blog, Instagram handle.(Google kitchen Kemistry by Cheryl christmas fruit cake... There's a ton of information about tricks and nuances) ... Wanted to try alcohol version of plum cake recipe myself ...
And then came her announcement for the bake off....Was in cloud nine when I got selected..... I had done a few bake along sessions..... But this was quite different...
Great ton of information from choice of ingredients to troubleshooting every mistep along the way, every participant was helpful to each other with Knowledge sharing . .....Every day passed with lots of learning and unlearning.... Robust of flavours filled the house while baking (Not to mention a whole day in the kitchen right from preprep, baking and cooling) ....waiting for the month to pass along to cut and devour the taste.....
