Timing: 2.30 pm to 5.45 pm IST

As part of World Town Planning Week 2025, the Department of Architecture and Planning, TKMCE, Kollam is organizing “Aarusho’25 – Dawn of a New Urban Vision” on November 13–15, 2025, under the theme “With Planning, We Can.”

The event includes a Panel Discussion on “Cities in Transition: Synergizing Sectors for Sustainable Urban Futures.” with a focus on “Urban Realities and Future Pathways: Challenges, Collaborations, Change”.

✨ Student Induction Program – 2025 Batch ✨

The Student Induction Program for the 2025 admission batch of the Department of Architecture and Planning is in full swing.

We were honored to host Ar. Shyna Rajesh, an award-winning architect and distinguished alumna of the department (Batch of 1995, fifth batch). She shared her inspiring journey of overcoming hurdles and gender biases to establish a successful architectural practice along with her husband, Er. Rajesh Sivan Vilayil.

Her words motivated our young students to dream big and back it up with consistent action. During the interactive session, students raised thoughtful questions about career options and the emerging challenges posed by AI in the profession.

Ar. Shyna reassured them, emphasizing that cultivating passion for the profession and having clear goals will always remain the foundation of success.

We thank her for being a source of inspiration and guidance to our budding architects. 🌿🏛️
