As part of the observance of “Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee Fornight”, City College of Commerce and Business Administration successfully organised a Memorial Lecture on 29th June, 2026 on the theme of “Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee: In Remembrance and Contemplation” .
We were privileged to have Dr. Rohini Kar, Assistant Professor, Department of History, Asansol Girl’s College, as the keynote speaker. Her insightful lecture on the life and and legacy of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee made the programme both enriching and inspiring.

City College of Commerce and Business Administration proudly observed International Yoga Day 2026 through both online and offline modes, ensuring the participation of students, faculty members and staff.
Participants enthusiastically joined the sessions, reaffirming their commitment to a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

City College of Commerce & Business Administration proudly celebrated Paschim Banga Divas on 20th June 2026, commemorating the rich cultural heritage, history and achievements of West Bengal.
The programme was graced by our chief patron: Dr. Pinaki Ranjan Bhattacharyya (Principal) and distinguished guest speakers : Prof. Manoranjan Naskar & Prof. Aditya Das, whose insightful addresses highlighted the significance of Bengal’s cultural legacy and its enduring contribution to society, education and intellectual thought.
Through meaningful discussions and reflections, the celebration served as a reminder of our collective responsibility to preserve and promote Bengal’s rich heritage.

The signing of the Letter of Understanding with NISM marked the beginning of a promising collaboration for our students.

The NSS Unit of City College of Commerce and Business Administration organised a Poster Competition on 24th March 2026 to celebrate World Water Day (22nd March).
The event highlighted the importance of sustainable water use and environmental awareness.

CCCBA observed the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on 20.01.26 with great reverence.
The celebration highlighted his inspiring teachings, values of youth empowerment and dedication to nation-building.
Students and faculty paid tribute to his legacy, reflecting on his timeless message of strength, discipline and service.

# College of Commerce and Business Administration organised a lecture under the CCCBA Lecture Series on Indian Knowledge System on 13.02.2026, delivered by Dr. Dibyendu Biswas.
