The Independence Day programme was held on 14th August at STEM World School with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. Students from PG to Class 2 participated in lively dance and song performances and presented a special skit depicting the journey of India’s Independence. Their cheerful performances made the celebration joyful and memorable.

STEM World School celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The programme began with the marching parade of the students of all four houses - Aryabhata, Bhabha, Ramanujan and Vivekananda followed by the National Song Vande Mataram. We were honoured to have Ms. Sumita Ghosh, Sister in charge, Barasat Government Medical College and Hospital, as our Chief Guest. Then we had the flag-hoisting ceremony followed by the National Anthem sung by all the students and the teachers of STEM World School. The school premises echoed with a sense of pride and unity as students and teachers gathered to commemorate the freedom of our nation. We were graced to get some valuable advice from our honourable Chief Guest.
The students presented a variety of cultural programmes, including a short skit, patriotic songs, dances and one drama presentation highlighting the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. The performances beautifully reflected the values of courage, unity and love for the country.
Respected Principal madam addressed the gathering and reminded the students of their responsibilities as citizens of India.
The celebration was a memorable experience that filled everyone with pride in being Indian and gratitude towards the brave souls who fought for our freedom.

Happy 80th Independence Day!

STEM World School celebrated Pre-Independence Day on 14th August with great enthusiasm, patriotic fervour, and a deep sense of pride. The students of Classes 3 to 5 participated actively in the celebration and showcased their talents through vibrant dance performances, patriotic songs, and an engaging skit.
The energetic performances beautifully reflected the students’ love and respect for the nation. The skit conveyed meaningful values of freedom, unity, and patriotism, while the melodious songs and graceful dances added to the festive spirit of the occasion.
The celebration was filled with joy, pride, and a strong sense of national spirit. The students’ enthusiastic participation and wonderful performances made the occasion truly memorable and reminded everyone of the importance of cherishing our freedom and contributing towards a united and harmonious nation.

A recitation competition was organised for the students of Classes I and II in the STEM World School. The young participants enthusiastically recited poems with confidence, expression, and beautiful voice modulation. It was a joyful and encouraging experience for all the students. Certificates were distributed to the participants and winners to appreciate their efforts and motivate them to take part in more such activities.
