DO YOU KNOW : National Science Day in India was started by the National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), which proposed the idea in 1986 to the Indian Government to commemorate C.V. Raman's discovery of the "Raman Effect", with the first celebration in 1987.

The government accepted the proposal, designating February 28th as the day to honor scientific contributions and promote science in India.

On February 27, we celebrate World Sustainable Energy Day, a global initiative to raise awareness of the importance of the resource's in our daily lives and the need to achieve responsible and efficient production and use of energy resources.

The primary goal is to promote sustainable energy solutions, enhance competitiveness, and contribute to climate neutrality.

World Peace and Understanding Day is observed on February 23rd to promote global harmony, cooperation, and conflict resolution.

On 7 November 1999 UNESCO announced that February 21st would be International Mother Language Day. February 21st was chosen to recognize the 1952 Bengali Language Movement. A day when we would pay special attention to our Mother Tongue, especially if it is a “dying language or dialect”.

Every Individual regardless of Background, Gender, Caste, Religion, or Economic status should have the access to Education, Employment, Healthcare, and Legal Protection.

Social Justice is not just a word. It is a collective responsibility that begins with Awareness, Education and Equal access to Opportunities.

On February 14, 2019, a tragic terror attack occurred in Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir, when a su***de bomber targeted a convoy of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) resulting in the martyrdom of 40 brave Jawans.

Today on this day, We pay homage to our brave martyrs.

Sarojini Naidu, the "Nightingale of India" was born on February 13, 1879, was a Poet and Political Activist.

Her poetry earned her the nickname 'Nightingale of India'. She served as the first Governor of the United Provinces (now Uttar Pradesh) from 1947 until her death in 1949.
