In December 2025, Aharshi announced the arrival of the academy on the biggest stage by becoming State Under 19 Champion with a commanding performance, while Reyan Jagnanni added more glory by securing 3rd place in the same championship.
Then came the fearless rise of Spandan Debnath, whose electrifying performances in open tournaments stunned everyone as he repeatedly defeated higher rated players with incredible confidence and fighting spirit.
And then arrived the unforgettable domination of 2026.
Aryahi became State Under 11 Champion with a sensational performance.
Aharnish Nanda fought brilliantly till the very end and finished State Under 11 Runner Up, missing the title by the narrowest margin.
Enodaya and Rajanya created history by becoming State Under 15 Boys and Girls Champions and brought immense pride to the academy.
Aniket Das added another glorious achievement by securing 3rd place in the highly competitive DDDBCA Above 1600 Tournament.
Across nearly every district chess tournament in 2026, players of Durgaprasad Mahapatra Chess Academy dominated the field with fearless chess, champion mentality, and unstoppable determination.
