||Explodia 2026: Avant Garde ||

Inspired by the Bengal School of Art and the painting “Teardrop on the Lotus Leaf,” our talented Fashion Design students showcased a mesmerizing Avant-Garde collection at Explodia 2026. The dramatic lotus leaf-inspired backdrop, handcrafted floral elements, and scrolls beautifully depicted the artistic narrative through wearable art. Every detail of the ensemble reflected creativity, cultural storytelling, innovation, and exceptional craftsmanship.

Inspired by the modern Indian artist Meera Mukherjee’s Mango Orchard and Nandalal Bose’s Haripura Posters, our students presented an avant-garde collection at Explodia 2026. Designed like a mystical tree emerging from the earth, the outfit features a dramatic sculptural silhouette with textured elements resembling roots and branches. The striking hand elements were conceptually inspired by the storytelling of Haripura Posters, reflecting the essence of daily chores and human connection. They have presented such an amazing and breathtaking collection that grabs the attention of the audience.

At Infusio 2026, our Interior Design students showcased a sophisticated dressing table that beautifully combines luxury, functionality, and contemporary aesthetics. Featuring sleek curves, warm wood textures, and an elegant mirror design, the piece strikes a perfect balance between modern craftsmanship and practical elegance. This creative furniture concept highlights their innovative thinking and growing expertise in stylish interior product design.
