Bansuri Sadhana

The 'Bansuri' symbolizes becoming empty like the bamboo—free of ego, allowing the breath to flow unhindered. The more open and receptive you become, the more beautiful music becomes.

In that sense, playing flute is not only a musical practice but also a spiritual one. The flute never claims the melody as its own. It simply allows it to pass through. You stop trying to control the music and begin allowing your breath to become music. In that process, the flute doesn't just change how you play—it changes how you live !!

বাঁশের ভিতর যেরকম শূন্যতা থাকে, বাঁশি' আমাদের সেরকমই শূন্য হতে শেখায় — 'শূন্য' অর্থ অহংকার থেকে মুক্ত হওয়া। আমাদের শ্বাস যেন বাধাহীনভাবে প্রবাহিত হতে পারে সেই শূণ্যতায়। যত বেশি আমরা নিজেকে, ভারহীন, উন্মুক্ত ও গ্রহণক্ষম করে তুলি, ততই আমাদের সুর হয়ে ওঠে গভীর ও সুন্দর।

সুতরাং বাঁশি বাজানো শুধু একটি সঙ্গীতচর্চা নয়—এ এক আধ্যাত্মিক সাধনাও।
বাঁশি কখনও সুরকে নিজের বলে দাবি করে না; সে শুধু সুরকে নিজের শূন্যতার ভেতর দিয়ে প্রবাহিত হতে দেয়।

একসময় সুরকে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করার চেষ্টা ছেড়ে দিতে হয় । এবং আমাদের শ্বাসই সুরে রূপ নেয় ।
আর সেই যাপনে, শুধু বাজনার ধরনই বদলে যায় না—বদলে যায় বাদকের বাঁচার ধরনও।
প্রবাহিত হয় অহংকার-মুক্ত মন।
