Another engaging Management Orientation Session for the BBA (Hons.) Class of 2026 was held following the remedial classes. Students were introduced to major and minor options and emerging lab oriented courses such as Digital Marketing, SEO & Social Media Management, Business Analytics, Agentic AI, Generative AI Tools, Real-World Asset (RWA) Tokenization, and Decentralized Finance.
Skill-development courses from Meta, Stanford Business, Duke University, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Microsoft, and others were also introduced. Distinguished experts and alumni from IIM Calcutta, IIM Ahmedabad, IISWBM and the University of Calcutta, including Subham Goyel, Dr. Sharmistha Banerjee, Sqn Ldr Sumedha Chopra, and Garima Gupta, graced the orientation and shared their experiences. The session focused on helping students build their four-year roadmap, plan internships, and understand rapidly changing industry trends. Regular classes will commence from 24th August 2026. Here is the Class of 2026, Department of Computer Applications. Following the remedial classes, the Orientation Day was enriched by the presence of professors from the Department of Computer Applications, the Placement Team, and distinguished professors from ISI and Jadavpur University, who will contribute to the students’ upcoming four-year academic journey.
Along with the regular BCA curriculum, students will receive additional skill enrichment through Linux, Elementary Cyber Security, and Ethical Hacking, supported by learning resources from Meta and Stanford University, along with various skill-development courses from Microsoft, AWS, and others.
The Academic Coordinator Team will closely monitor students’ performance to strengthen classroom learning and arrange additional tutorial sessions whenever required. Regular classes will commence from 24th August 2026. Library books, Digital Library access, and ID cards will also be provided.

On 20 August 2026, the School of the Future at Techno India University became the ultimate arena for Kolkata’s Pokémon community!

From an immersive gaming experience zone and high-energy quizzes to exciting challenges and many more activities, the campus was packed with strategy, competition and serious Trainer energy.
