The Global Status Report on Physical Activity 2022 The first global status report on physical activity is for everyone involved in promoting and delivering national and subnational policies that provide the environments and programmes that drive participation in physical activity.

Driven by the startup culture, more and more young graduates are taking the entrepreneurial road in place of a regular job. The Centre’s ease of doing business is also encouraging the youth to take up entrepreneurship, reports The Economic Times .
Here are some key takeaways:

✳️ Of the 4,20,000 Director Identification Numbers (DINs) issued in FY22, 1,23,000 people who received it were younger than 30 years.

✳️ Another 1,82,000 recipients were aged between 31-45 years.

✳️ Maharashtra accounted for the most new directors aged under 30 years, followed by Uttar Pradesh.

✳️ However, just 30% of the newly-registered directors were women.

✳️ Amongst the new directors aged 30 years or younger, only 31,048 were women.

✳️ There were 1,24,000 male directors and 58,420 female directors in the 31-45 years age group.
