Guru Nanak Institute of Dental Sciences & Research (GNIDSR), a JIS Group educational initiative, organised the "Graduation Day" programme for the outgoing batch of 2023.

Dr. P. Arun, Director, Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata was the Chief Guest. His insightful address motivated & inspired the budding dental surgeons embarking on their professional journey. The august gathering included Prof. (Dr.) J. Bhattacharyya, Principal, the Hospital Superintendent and Heads of Departments of GNIDSR, lending prestige and support to the occasion.

Amidst an atmosphere brimming with pride and anticipation, the newly minted Dental Surgeons, who diligently pursued their educational journey from 2018 to 2023, including a year-long internship, were bestowed with the oath of dedicated and selfless service to society. The solemn oath was administered by Prof. (Dr.) J. Bhattacharyya, Principal, GNIDSR, encapsulating the essence of their commitment to serve humanity through their noble profession.

Guru Nanak Institute of Technology has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Catalyst Advisory Services (CAS) to help GNIT to strengthen their industry academia bonding.

CAS will help the students of GNIT develop soft skills, help GNIT develop Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDP), organise seminars, workshops, conferences and symposiums to enable students to get practical exposure in their domains.

Greater Kolkata College of Engineering & Management organised a heartwarming festive gathering of underprivileged children from 'Alor Disha' of the Sabuj Sangha Club, as an integral facet of their noble initiative called 'Service beyond boundaries.'

Coordinated by the Alliance Club of GKCEM, the event saw enthusiastic participation of over 50 children. The occasion was marked by the cutting of celebratory cakes, spreading cheer and warmth, and the distribution of food packets to the eager children, fostering smiles and joy that resonated throughout the event.

Guru Nanak Institute of Dental Sciences and Research organised a blood donation camp in collaboration with the blood bank of the College of Medicine and Sagore Dutta Hospital (CMSDH). ENERGY LITERACY TRAINING AT GKCEM

Greater Kolkata College of Engineering and Management (GKCEM) – a JIS Group educational initiative, organized a workshop on “Energy Literacy Training” in association with the Energy Swaraj Foundation.

In the wake of climate change, the Energy Literacy Training was organized to educate students on understanding of energy generation and consumption, and its impact on the environment.

Forty students attended the session and completed the training successfully. The students also appeared in an MCQ-based online test and received certificates from the Energy Swaraj Foundation Portal.
