Paper presentation:
1) Each student will get atmost 10 minutes for speaking.
2) The students have to present their papers in soft copy ( Microsoft Power Point format preferably). [Scanned copy of their original, hand-writen paper is not acceptable]
3) Students will get the facility of projectors and writing board.
4) The topic of discussion essentially needs to be in the field of Physics. Students are welcome to present any project/thesis (preferably which is their own and not copied from somewhere else)
5) The students need to mail the soft copy of their papers to [email protected] by 12th March.
Or,
The students can submit the soft copy of their papers, in C.D.s, D.V.D.s or other 2ndary storage devices, to the Department of Physics of St.Xavier’s College by 12th March.[Timings *]
6) The papers will be scrutinized by the conveners of our event- Dr. Kaushik Ghosh and Dr. Indranath Chaudhury, and only the selected few students will be able to present their papers on stage on 15th March.
7) Selected students will be informed before 14th, via email or text message. [So students are requested to check their mails and text messages regularly.]
8) Selected students need to report to Fr.Depelchin Auditorium in St.Xavier’s College by 9:30 on 15th March(i.e. on the day of Spectrum), since paper presentation will start from 10:00.
