IBPS Exam Pattern Change Pre and Mains for PO and Clerks 2015-2016

IBPS has released the tentative schedule and an Important notice regarding changes to be bought in from now onwards in the CWE Exams for PO and Clerks in participating government sector banks in the country.
CWE RRB-IV Recruitment of Officers Scales I, II & III and Office Assistants in Gramin Banks
There will be single examination for Recruitment of Officers and Assistants in the Gramin Banks across country. So there is no change in selection process of RRBs. Note that IBPS has notified that the exam for RRBs will be held on Sep 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 & 27 - 2015.

CWE V for Recruitment of Specialist Officers in Public Sector Banks
There will be single examination for Recruitment of Specialist Officers in Public Sector Banks. So there is no change in selection process of Specialist Officers. IBPS has notified that the exam for Specialist Officers will be held on given dates - Jan 31-31, 2016.

CWE V for Recruitment of Clerks and Probationary Officers in Public Sector Banks
Here IBPS has introduced an Important change and it is that there will be Two Stage Written Exams - Pre and Mains. Those candidates clearing the Pre exam will then be called for the Mains test to be held later.
Candidates clearing the mains test will be called for Interviews. Marks of Pre exam will not be considered for Interview Shortlisting / Merit Making as noticed -
"The marks obtained in the Preliminary examination will not be considered for preparing the final merit
list and the marks obtained in the Main Examination will only be considered for short listing for
interview".
Tentative dates for the PO and Clerical Exams 2015-16 are -
Probationary Officers
Pre - Oct 3,4,10,11 - 2015
Mains - Oct 31, 2015
Clerks
Pre - Dec 5,6,12,13,19,20 - 2015
Mains - Jan 03, 2016
More detailed Schedule and details shall be made available later but for now this short notice tells that pattern change is coming in the bank exams on the verge of Combined Graduate Level Exam conducted by SSC and more vacancies can be expcted this time in the Upcoming Bank Exams 2015 - 2016 for PO and Clerks. Candidates Must now get ready for this new pattern.
