Tagore Foundation School Kolkata The journey started in 2001 Then it’s name was “ LITTLE HUT”. On 2008,name of the school was c Currently, we have above 150 children.

At the background of the institute TAGORE FOUNDATION SCHOOL,KOLKATA are the pangs of a tearful mother with problem of her only child. she got training in the special field while she trained her daughter "ADRIJA" she felt the need of many activities for special children and their parents.At present our school has classes from play group to class (viii) 8. After class (viii) we have facilities to ap

pear for secondary and senior secondary examination through NIOS. Tagore Foundation follows the montessori method of teaching and also it follows West Bengal Board of Education(Eng.Medium).Apart from regular teaching classes children are given training in Dancing,Singing,Stitching,Art & Craft,Drawing,Computer Training Classes,Guiter,Karate through Pracheen Kala Kendra Chandigarh. We believe that the inclusive mode of teaching definitely helps children with special need(CWSN).They imitate and learn from the normal children in their classes. On the other hand we are also able to provide quality education to the financially needy children who cannot afford good schooling.
