The Algorand Blockchain Club of UEM Kolkata successfully conducted its offline inauguration ceremony, where the official club logo was unveiled. Congratulations to Debarghya Pal, a first-year CSE student, for designing the winning logo.

We were honored to have Prof. Dr. Maumita Chakraborty (Head of Department - CST & CSIT) and Prof. Dr. Subhalaxmi Chakraborty (Faculty Coordinator) in attendance, along with Neha Roy the regional Algorand ambassador. Ms. Roy addressed the students, encouraging them to engage with blockchain technology to solve real-world challenges and highlighted the free blockchain courses offered by Algorand.

The event concluded with a brief quiz session, and participants, as well as core club members, were awarded Algorand merchandise.
