Market Wonderland – A Joyful Learning Experience

P. B. Academic School organised an engaging and experiential learning activity titled “Market Wonderland” on 10th February 2026 within the school premises. The event beautifully transformed
learning into a lively, real-world experience for the young learners.

The KG children enthusiastically took on the role of shopkeepers, while the Tiny Scholars became customers, creating a vibrant marketplace atmosphere. Through role-play and interaction, children learned basic concepts of buying and selling, money handling, polite conversation, and teamwork.

The activity helped nurture confidence, communication skills, social interaction, and practical life skills among the students in a fun and stress-free environment. Their excitement, creativity, and participation reflected the success of the event.

Market Wonderland proved to be a delightful blend of education and enjoyment, reinforcing the school’s commitment to experiential and child-centric learning.

P. B. Academic School celebrated its Annual Junior Sports Day 2025–2026 with great enthusiasm and vibrant energy on 31st January 2026 in the school premises. The event turned into a joyful carnival of fitness, fun, and sportsmanship, especially designed for the junior wing.
The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Sudip Naha, Captain of Boats and Chief Coach at Lake Club, and Mr. Anindo Sarkar, renowned Bengali actor and director. The programme was further dignified by the presence of the school Principal Mrs. Madhuparna Andrews and Management Trustee Mrs. Kirti Bhagchandka, whose encouragement added immense motivation to the young participants.
The sports events for Tiny Scholars to KG were delightfully themed as “Toon Champs’ Adventure.” The little ones captivated the audience through colourful drills and cartoon-based races such as Kung Fu Panda Bamboo Race, Winnie the Pooh Race, Tom and Jerry Race, and many more, filling the ground with laughter and cheer.
For Classes I and II, the segment was titled “Tricolour Stars.” Students showcased disciplined drills along with impressive karate and gymnastics displays, highlighting strength, balance, and coordination. The competitive spirit continued with patriotic and energetic games like Veer Tiger Run, Tiranga Treasure Hunt, and Little Patriots Relay, which were thoroughly enjoyed by participants and spectators alike.
A heart-warming highlight of the day was the special races for students of the Inclusive Department. Every participant was honoured with a trophy by the Principal and the Management Trustee, drawing loud applause and appreciation from the audience and reinforcing the message that every effort deserves recognition.
Adding to the excitement, special races for fathers and mothers were also organised, making the event inclusive and engaging for the entire school community.

The programme concluded with the distribution of certificates and medals to the winners, marking a successful and memorable sports day that celebrated not just victory, but participation, confidence, and unity.

The Annual Junior Sports Day truly reflected the school’s commitment to holistic development and joyful learning.

This year a day outing was organised by P.B Academic School for the students of classes III to V on 16th January. It was not only a recreational trip but an educational trip also. The children were taken to Jagriti Dham, Merlin Greens, Ibiza. It is a beautiful and peaceful place.They enjoyed a lot among the greenery. They played different games organised by the teachers. The students were provided healthy and yummy breakfast and lunch.
We are happy that the school has given such a wonderful opportunity to the students to enjoy the whole day.
We are also thankful to the parents who have been a constant support for us.

Helpage India Collection Drive
P. B. Academic School organised a Helpage India collection drive with active participation from students of classes Tiny Scholars to Class V. The initiative aimed to instil values of empathy, social responsibility and care for the elderly among young learners.
The students enthusiastically contributed by collecting money in support of Helpage India, showing compassion and a sense of duty towards senior citizens. Their sincere efforts reflected a strong spirit of kindness and teamwork.
As a token of appreciation and encouragement, prizes such as badges, posters and certificates were awarded to the students based on the amount collected. To further motivate the participants, trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions were presented to the highest collectors.
The drive was a meaningful experience for the students and successfully reinforced the importance of helping those in need while nurturing humanitarian values at an early age.
