s a direct descendant of Hazrat Imam Hasan Mujtaba (AS) on his father's side and of Hazrat Imam Hossain, Shaheed e Karbala (AS) on his mother's side and he is the originator and head of the Quaderia Sufi Order. But since Hazrat Ghausul Azam is recognized as the Greatest Saint of all time, by extension, he is the Spiritual Head of all the Sufi Orders that have ever existed. Hazrat Ghausul Azam is said to have fathered 49 children all of whom became great saints. Among the more famous of his sons was his first son, Hazrat Syed Shah Abdul Wahab Al Jilani Al Quaderi (AS), and his third son, Hazrat Syed Shah Abdul Razzak Al Jilani Al Quaderi (AS). Many of the descendants of Hazrat Ghausul Azam subsequently reached many parts of the world and propagated the Quaderia Sufi Order. Although, other branches of the family of Hazrat Ghausul Azam had reached India before, a great Saint, Hazrat Syed Shah Abdullah Al Jili (AS), directly descended from Hazrat Syed Shah Abdul Razzak (AS) came by sea to Bengal, from Hama, Syria, in 1776, accompanied by his 4 sons and 1 grandson and settled in a place called Mangal Court, Burdwan in Bengal. He returned back soon afterward but left behind 2 sons and the grandson among the people of Bengal as a Mercy of the Almighty to them. Thereafter, succeeding generations of Saints have regenerated the faith and glory of Islam through their total devotion to the will of the Almighty, enduring affection for creation and mankind, and their unique charisma of character. Hazrat Syed Shah Zaker Ali Al Quaderi (AS) (also known as Ghaus e Sani) settled down in Mongol Court which in those days was a prosperous centre of trade, commerce and learning owing its glory to the old days of the Moghuls. But the old days and ideas were in decline, soon to be replaced by the advent of the British and in the context of the great role that this Order was going to play in Bengal, Hazrat Syed Shah Tofail Ali Al Quaderi (AS) (also known as Qutub e Rabbani) the son of Hazrat Syed Shah Raushan Ali Al Quaderi (AS), and the nephew and son in law of Ghaus e Sani moved to Midnapore. Through their travels and interactions, both these Great Men left an immutable impression among the population with their strength of character, persona and un-excelled miracles only becoming of the Prophets and the Great Saints of the Quaderi Order. The tombs of them both lie peacefully in Mongol Court which even today is the site of a great Urs Mahfil held each year on 4th Zilhajj. Hazrat Syed Shah Mehr e Ali Al Quaderi (AS) (also known as Ala Huzur Pak), the next in line to head the Order, consolidated the position of the Order in Midnapore establishing a mosque and a hermitage which even today is the most important site of pilgrimage for the followers of this Quaderi order in Bengal. Ala Huzur Pak's son Hazrat Syed Shah Murshed Ali Al Quaderi (AS) (also known as Maula Pak and Huzur Purnoor) further consolidated the Order in Midnapore with the construction of the Jora Masjid Pak which houses a mosque and the Mazaar Sharifs of the family.
