विद्यालय में श्रद्धापूर्वक मनाई गई गणेश चतुर्थी एवं हिन्दी दिवस

विद्यालय परिसर में गणेश चतुर्थी एवं हिन्दी दिवस का कार्यक्रम श्रद्धा, उत्साह और उमंग के साथ संयुक्त रूप से मनाया गया। कार्यक्रम में जहां भगवान गणेश की वंदना एवं पूजन के माध्यम से धार्मिक आस्था का वातावरण बना, वहीं हिन्दी भाषा के महत्व और उसके गौरव पर विभिन्न गतिविधियों के माध्यम से प्रकाश डाला गया। कार्यक्रम में विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्या पूनम सिंह, शिक्षकगण एवं विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक सहभागिता की।

कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्या पूनम सिंह द्वारा दीप प्रज्वलित कर किया गया। इसके पश्चात प्रधानाचार्या पूनम सिंह ने तुलसीदास जी, मुंशी प्रेमचंद एवं मां सरस्वती के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण कर श्रद्धासुमन अर्पित किए। दीप प्रज्वलन एवं माल्यार्पण के साथ कार्यक्रम का वातावरण श्रद्धा और सकारात्मक ऊर्जा से भर गया। इसके बाद विद्यालय के शिक्षक सुधांशु पांडेय ने भगवान गणेश की वंदना प्रस्तुत की।

कार्यक्रम का संचालन विद्यालय के शिक्षक दिनेश रजक एवं सुधांशु पांडेय द्वारा किया गया। दोनों शिक्षकों ने कार्यक्रम को क्रमबद्ध तरीके से आगे बढ़ाते हुए गणेश चतुर्थी और हिन्दी दिवस के महत्व से जुड़े विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों को प्रस्तुत किया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान विद्यार्थियों को हिन्दी दिवस से संबंधित एक डॉक्यूमेंट्री भी दिखाई गई।

इसके बाद कक्षा 6 एवं कक्षा 9 के विद्यार्थियों ने हिन्दी भाषा के महत्व पर अपने विचार प्रस्तुत किए। विद्यार्थियों ने बताया कि हिन्दी हमारे लिए केवल संवाद का माध्यम नहीं, बल्कि हमारी भाषा और अभिव्यक्ति से जुड़ी महत्वपूर्ण कड़ी है। विद्यार्थियों की प्रस्तुतियों से कार्यक्रम में हिन्दी के प्रति सम्मान और रुचि का भाव दिखाई दिया। कार्यक्रम में कक्षा 11 एवं 12 के विद्यार्थियों ने काव्य प्रस्तुतियां दीं। विद्यार्थियों ने अपनी प्रस्तुतियों के माध्यम से हिन्दी साहित्य की विविधता और काव्य की सुंदरता को सामने रखा। उनकी प्रस्तुतियों को उपस्थित विद्यार्थियों एवं शिक्षकों ने उत्साहपूर्वक सुना।

कक्षा 11 के छात्र पीयूष पांडेय ने राष्ट्रकवि रामधारी सिंह दिनकर की प्रसिद्ध कृति ‘रश्मिरथी’ का काव्य-पाठ प्रस्तुत किया। पीयूष पांडेय की प्रस्तुति प्रभावशाली रही और उन्होंने अपनी आवाज एवं भाव-प्रस्तुति के माध्यम से काव्य को जीवंत बनाने का प्रयास किया। उनकी प्रस्तुति ने कार्यक्रम में विशेष आकर्षण पैदा किया।

कार्यक्रम के अंत में विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्या पूनम सिंह के आशीर्वचन के साथ समारोह का समापन हुआ। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों की प्रस्तुतियों की सराहना की और उन्हें आगे भी इस प्रकार की गतिविधियों में उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लेने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

विद्यालय में श्रद्धापूर्वक मनाई गई गोस्वामी तुलसीदास जयंती

विद्यालय में महान भक्त कवि एवं रामभक्त गोस्वामी तुलसीदास जी की जयंती श्रद्धापूर्वक एवं उत्साह के साथ मनाई गई। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ माँ सरस्वती एवं गोस्वामी तुलसीदास जी की प्रतिमा के समक्ष विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्या पूनम सिंह द्वारा दीप प्रज्वलित कर किया गया। इसके पश्चात विद्यालय के शिक्षकगणों ने तुलसीदास जी की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण कर उन्हें श्रद्धासुमन अर्पित किए।

कार्यक्रम में विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्या, शिक्षकगण एवं विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। कक्षा छठवीं के छात्र पिंकू पासवान ने गोस्वामी तुलसीदास जी के जीवन, व्यक्तित्व एवं साहित्यिक योगदान पर विस्तृत जानकारी प्रस्तुत की। उन्होंने विशेष रूप से तुलसीदास जी की महान कृति रामचरितमानस के महत्व एवं भारतीय समाज पर उसके व्यापक प्रभाव पर प्रकाश डाला।

कक्षा नौवीं एवं ग्यारहवीं के छात्र-छात्राओं ने तुलसीदास जी की प्रसिद्ध रचनाओं विनय पत्रिका एवं कवितावली के पदों और काव्य का गायन प्रस्तुत किया तथा उनके भाव एवं साहित्यिक महत्व का विश्लेषण किया। विद्यार्थियों की प्रस्तुति ने कार्यक्रम में भक्ति एवं साहित्य का सुंदर समन्वय प्रस्तुत किया।

इस अवसर पर विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्या पूनम सिंह ने विद्यार्थियों को तुलसीदास जी के जीवन और साहित्य से परिचित कराते हुए कहा कि तुलसीदास जी का संपूर्ण काव्य भारतीय संस्कृति एवं लोकजीवन का सहज प्रवाह है। उन्होंने अपने साहित्य के माध्यम से तत्कालीन समाज में समन्वय स्थापित करने का अभूतपूर्व कार्य किया। उनका जीवन समर्पण और त्याग का प्रतीक रहा है। यही कारण है कि आज भी तुलसीदास जी जनमानस में अत्यंत लोकप्रिय एवं श्रद्धेय हैं।

विद्यालय के शिक्षक सुधांशु पांडे ने तुलसीदास जी के साहित्यिक योगदान और उनके लोकनायक स्वरूप पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि हिंदी साहित्य के अधिकांश विद्वानों का मत है कि तुलसीदास जी केवल महान कवि ही नहीं, बल्कि एक सच्चे लोकनायक भी थे। उन्होंने रामचरितमानस जैसी महान रचना के माध्यम से रामकथा को समाज के प्रत्येक वर्ग तक पहुँचाया। उन्होंने कहा कि आज के युग में भी तुलसीदास जी के विचार और उनका साहित्य मानव हृदय में जीवित हैं।

इसके पश्चात विद्यालय के शिक्षक दिनेश रजक ने तुलसीदास जी के पदों का भावपूर्ण गायन प्रस्तुत किया। उनकी प्रस्तुति ने कार्यक्रम को भक्तिमय वातावरण से भर दिया।

अंत में प्रधानाचार्या पूनम सिंह के आशीर्वचन के साथ कार्यक्रम का समापन हुआ। विद्यार्थियों ने पूरे कार्यक्रम में उत्साह एवं ऊर्जा के साथ सहभागिता की। कार्यक्रम ने विद्यार्थियों को तुलसीदास जी के जीवन, साहित्य, भक्ति एवं भारतीय संस्कृति के प्रति गहरी समझ विकसित करने की प्रेरणा दी।

**SCIENCE EXHIBITION REPORT 2026**
**SREE JAIN SWETAMBER TERAPANTHI VIDYALAYA (BOYS’ H.S.)**

The Science Exhibition 2026 at Sree Jain Swetamber Terapanthi Vidyalaya (Boys’ H.S.) was organized with great enthusiasm and participation from students across various classes. The event aimed to promote scientific thinking, creativity, and innovation among students while providing them with a platform to showcase their talents.

The exhibition was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, **Smt. Meena Devi Purohit**, Ex-Deputy Mayor of Kolkata Municipal Corporation. Other distinguished dignitaries present on the occasion included **Sri Prakash Chand Nahar**, President of the Boys' Section; **Smt. Santosh Jain**, Committee Member of the Boys' Section; **Sri Prakash Killa**, Alumni Student; and **Smt. Poonam Singh**, Headmistress of the school. The presence of all respected guests, along with teachers and students, added grandeur to the event.

The exhibition featured a wide range of innovative and informative projects across different subjects:

**Physical Science Projects:**
Students displayed remarkable creativity through projects such as Wireless Electricity (Tesla Coil), Automated Flag Hoisting System, Chandrayaan-3 model, Electric Hand Buzz Wire Game, and Smart Rocket Launcher System. These models highlighted the application of physics in modern technology and space science.

**Chemistry Projects:**
The chemistry section included working models like Carbon Purification and Production of Carbon Dioxide, demonstrating important chemical processes in an engaging manner.

**Life Science Projects:**
Projects such as Eye Reflex and Synapse, Stethoscope, Digestive System, and Aquaponic Model showcased the understanding of biological systems and their practical applications in daily life and sustainability.

**Mathematics Projects:**
Students presented projects on Cryptography and Vedic Mathematics, emphasizing logical thinking, number systems, and problem-solving techniques.

**History Project:**
A detailed model of the Bhakti Movement was presented, reflecting India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.

**Political Science Project:**
A Model of the Indian Parliament was displayed, helping students understand the functioning of the democratic system.

**Social Studies Project:**
A Windmill model demonstrated the concept of renewable energy and sustainable development.

**Geography Projects:**
Students exhibited models of the Solar System, Layers of the Earth, and Physiographic Divisions of India, enhancing geographical understanding through visual representation.

The exhibition was a great success, reflecting the hard work, dedication, and innovative spirit of the students, guided by their teachers. The Chief Guest and other dignitaries appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to continue exploring the world of science and knowledge.

The event not only enriched students’ academic learning but also boosted their confidence, teamwork, and presentation skills. It proved to be an inspiring and educational experience for everyone involved.

Environment Quiz Championship 2026

Powered by Mantras Foundation

The Environment Quiz Championship 2026, powered by Mantras Foundation, provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their knowledge and awareness regarding environmental issues.

Our school proudly participated in the competition, where three of our students—Aayush Ray (Class 9), Abhay Kumar Ram (Class 10), and Md. Ammar Uddin (Class 10)
—successfully cleared the preliminary round conducted within the school campus.

Following their impressive performance in the prelims, the team advanced to the semifinal round, which was held at The Heritage School, Kolkata. Competing with enthusiasm and determination, our students performed remarkably well and secured their place in the grand finale.

In the final round, despite strong competition, our team achieved the 4th position. Although they narrowly missed a podium finish, the experience proved to be highly enriching and educational for the students. They gained valuable knowledge, confidence, and exposure through participation in such a prestigious event.

Overall, the championship was a great learning experience, fostering environmental awareness and encouraging students to engage in meaningful academic competition.

80th Independence Day Celebration at Sree Jain Swetamber Terapanthi Vidyalaya

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated at Sree Jain Swetamber Terapanthi Vidyalaya with great enthusiasm and a spirit of patriotism.

The program began with a morning procession (Prabhat Pheri), attended by President of the Boys’ Section Mr. Prakash Chand Nahar, Headmistress of the School Mrs. Poonam Singh, Alumni along with all the police officials of Burra Bazar Police Station, teachers and students.

Following this, the national flag was hoisted in the school premises and the national anthem was sung, filling everyone’s heart with pride. The members who were present in the program are Mr. Indraj Mal Nahata (Secretary of the Society), Mr. Prakash Chand Nahar (President of the Boys' Section), Mrs. Santosh Jain and Mr. Kriti Kumar Naulakha (Committee Members of the Boys' Section) and the Alumni Student Prakash Killa.

After the flag hoisting, Sri Prakash Chand Nahar President of the Boys' Sections
addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of independence, the sacrifices made by our national heroes, and our duties as responsible citizens.

The event continued with a series of cultural performances, including patriotic songs, speeches, Dance Performances and poems on India’s freedom struggle.

In conclusion, The President of the Boys' Section Mr. Prakash Chand Nahar expressed appreciation for this important event held at the school and extended his gratitude towards all the teachers and the students.

An Inter-School Singing Competition was organised by Parivar Milan on 22 August 2026. A total of nine schools participated in the event. Six students from our school represented in the competition.
The students performed confidently and showcased their musical talent before the audience and judges. The competition was judged on the basis of voice quality, rhythm, expression, and overall performance. It provided an excellent platform for students to display their talent and gain valuable stage experience.
