Techno India-Salt Lake

a group of colleges in West Bengal. Techno India is located in Sector V, Bidhannagar, Kolkata Salt lake, Kolkata and is spread over 10 acres (40,000 m2) of land. The college campus consists of two large buildings; one main 5-story building, and a new 9-story building that is mostly corporate offices for example Tech Mahindra, NIIT, and ARC. The campus also includes a large playground, a small swimming pool, food court. Techno India offers both undergraduate and graduate courses in various engineering computer and business disciplines.[2] The college offers B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Food Technology, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The college also offers other professional degree courses like Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) two-year full-time programs, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Hospital Management (BHM), Bachelor of Media Science (BMS), Bachelor of Optometry (B.Otp.), and Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in VLSI. The B.Tech, MCA, MBA and M.Tech courses are AICTE approved. All the courses are affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology, Salt Lake, West Bengal. There are about 178 faculty members teaching in various departments. More than 2200 students are enrolled to various courses of study. There is a library, on the ground floor of the main building, which is equipped with modern facilities like a computerized catalog, digital copies of all the books, computerized maintenance of lending and receiving of books, a reading room and computers that allow students to search books online.
