“Behind every achievement of humanity stands a worker who gave their best — often without recognition, always without hesitation.” 💪🏽🌍

International Labour Day, observed on 1st May 2026, honours the workers who form the backbone of society. Rooted in the 19th-century labour movement, it stands for rights we value today — fair wages, safe conditions, and the dignity of an 8-hour workday.

From building cities to shaping minds, every role carries purpose and impact. Yet, many still face inequality and unsafe environments. This day reminds us to create workplaces that are fair, inclusive, and human-centred — where every individual is not just employed, but empowered. 🤝✊🏽

On this significant occasion, the Department of BBA, IEM Ashram Campus, Salt Lake, Kolkata, proudly salutes every hardworking individual — yesterday, today, and always. 🙏🏽
