*Fun-Filled Celebration with Teachers*

A joyful and fun-filled celebration was organized today at North Point Senior Secondary Boarding school, Rajarhat for the teachers before the commencement of the summer holidays. The event created a lively atmosphere filled with laughter, music, and togetherness, giving everyone an opportunity to relax and enjoy.

Teachers enthusiastically participated in exciting games such as Antakshari and Dumb Charades, making the session energetic and entertaining. The friendly competition and cheerful bonding added warmth and excitement to the celebration.

The fun was enhanced with delicious snacks including chips, cold drinks, freshly prepared jhal muri made at school, samosas, and sweets, which everyone enjoyed together.

Adding more joy to the occasion, teachers danced wholeheartedly and celebrated with great enthusiasm, making the event memorable and refreshing for all. The celebration concluded on a happy note with group picture with respected Head ma'am, Principal ma'am and the entire staff, marking a cheerful beginning to the summer holidays.

Rabindra Jayanti Celebration at NPSSBS, Rajarhat

North Point Senior Secondary Boarding School, Rajarhat celebrated Rabindra Jayanti with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit to commemorate the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore. The programme aimed to honour the immense contribution of the Nobel Laureate to literature, music, art, and culture.

The celebration began with a special assembly, where students and teachers paid tribute to Gurudev through speeches and reflections on his life and works. The assembly highlighted Tagore’s timeless teachings and his influence on Bengali culture and Indian heritage.

The cultural programme commenced with lighting of the lamp by our respected Director ma'am, Prerna ma'am and Principal ma'am followed by an opening song by Sahana Ma’am, setting a graceful tone for the event. Students from KG and Nursery presented a delightful group dance performance on “Aay Tobe Sohochori”. This was followed by a lively dance performance on “Amra Chash Kori Anonde” by students of Classes I and II.

A melodious Rabindrasangeet presentation by students, directed by Paromita Batabyal Ma’am, added musical charm to the celebration. Students of Classes III, IV, and V performed a group dance on “Dokhin Hawa”, while students of Classes VI and VII captivated the audience with their dance performance on “Monomor Megher”. The programme also included songs sung by Class II students and Soma ma'am along with recitations by student of Class III and Simran Ma'am

A special segment titled “Pancha Kanya of Tagore” showcased dance presentations based on Tagore’s renowned literary characters and dance dramas. The performances included:
Chitrangada by Shubhangi Chakraborty of Class IX
Shyama by Devika Ma’am and Debashruti Ma’am
Shapmochon by Purba Ma’am
Mayar Khela by students of Classes VIII and IX
Chandalika by Rajshri Saha of Class IX
The celebration beautifully reflected the richness of Tagore’s creations and provided students with an opportunity to connect with Bengali culture and heritage. The programme concluded on a memorable and inspiring note through the beautiful speecges from our parents, leaving the audience deeply moved by the performances and the timeless legacy o Rabindranath Tagore.

*EARTH DAY CELEBRATION*

North Point Senior Secondary Boarding School, Rajarhat celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm to promote environmental awareness and responsibility among students.
The celebration began with a special assembly, where students spoke about the importance of protecting the Earth and adopting eco-friendly practices. Informative talks and messages highlighted the need for conservation, sustainability, and respect for nature.
Adding charm to the celebration, pre-primary students dressed up as the Earth, spreading a powerful message of love and care for our planet through their innocent and creative expressions.
A quiz competition was also organized, where students actively participated and showcased their knowledge about environmental issues, conservation, and sustainable living. The activity encouraged awareness and learning in an engaging manner.
The Earth Day celebration successfully instilled a sense of responsibility among students for preserving the planet.

Award Distribution for World Art Day Drawing Competition

Today at NPSSBS , RAJARHAT during morning assembly, the Award Distribution Ceremony for the World Art Day Drawing Competition was conducted for students of Classes III to VIII, recognizing their creativity and artistic efforts. The competition, organized to celebrate World Art Day, encouraged students to express their ideas through imaginative artwork on diverse themes.

The topics assigned were thoughtfully chosen to inspire creativity and awareness:
Class III – Family Picnic
Class IV – Village Scene
Class V – Underwater World
Class VI – World Without Trees
Class VII – Save Earth
Class VIII – A Tree with Changing Seasons.

The students were awarded certificates and prizes by respected Principal ma'am, Vice Principal ma'am, the TIs and teachers, in appreciation of their commendable performance. Their artworks reflected originality, creativity, and a deep understanding of the given themes. The ceremony served as a source of motivation for students to engage in creative expression and environmental awareness through art.

Hindi Olympiad Prize Distribution Ceremony

The medal and certificate distribution ceremony for the Hindi Olympiad was conducted today at NPSSBS, Rajarhat with great pride to recognize the outstanding achievements of students. The event celebrated the participants’ proficiency in the Hindi language and their dedication towards academic excellence by awarding them certificates and medals for standing first and second in their respective groups.
Teachers congratulated the winners and encouraged all students to continue developing their language skills and participate actively in such competitions.
