বৈশাখ মানেই বাঙালির প্রধান দুই উৎসব। শুরুতে পয়লা বৈশাখ এবং শেষে ২৫ বৈশাখ। বাঙালির প্রাণের ঠাকুর রবিঠাকুরের জন্মদিন। কলকাতার জোড়াসাঁকোর বিখ্যাত ঠাকুর পরিবারে ১২৬৮ বঙ্গাব্দের ২৫ বৈশাখ (১৮৬১ সালের ৭মে) জন্মগ্রহণ করেন তিনি। এবছর তাঁর ১৬২ তম জন্মদিন। শৈশব থেকে মৃত্যু অবধি মানুষের জীবনের বিভিন্ন সময়ের জন্যই তাঁর কলম চলেছে।
