➡️ To pass a law (approve it) is one thing and to enforce it (making it happen, executing it) is another.
❗ As the Corruption Perceptions Index 2022 reveals, despite the many commitments, 155 countries have made no significant progress against corruption or have declined since over the last decade.
📣 It is great to see politicians passing important anti-corruption laws, but it is as important to make sure that those laws have a real impact on people's lives and laws are really enforced.
⚡ Citizens can hold politicians to account, making sure they deliver their anti-corruption promises.
