Հայոց ցեղասպանության հիշատակին նվիրված օր

Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, որն իրականացվել է Երիտթուրքերի կողմից Առաջին համաշխարհային պատերազմի ընթացքում, համարվում է մարդկության պատմության ամենատխուր և անմոռանալի էջերից մեկը։

2026 թվականի ապրիլի 26-ին Կալկաթայի Հայոց մարդասիրական ճեմարանի աշակերտները, ուսուցիչներն ու հայկական համայնքի ներկայացուցիչները մասնակցեցին Սուրբ Պատարագին, որը մատուցվեց սուրբ Նազարեթ հայկական եկեղեցում։ Այնուհետև, Հայոց ցեղասպանության նահատակների հիշատակին նվիրված հուշարձանի առջև կատարվեց Բարեխոսական կարգ, որի ավարտին բոլոր ներկաները ծաղիկներ դրեցին հուշարձանի առջև՝ խոնարհումով և առ Աստված աղոթքով, որպեսզի հանուն հավատքի և հայրենիքի իրենց կյանքը զոհաբերած սուրբ նահատակների բարեխոսությամբ միշտ ամուր և անսասան մնա Հայոց պետությունը՝ իր ժողովրդով հանդերձ։

Commemorating Armenian Genocide Day

The Armenian Genocide, perpetrated by the Young Turks during World War I, stands as one of the most tragic and profound chapters in human history.

On 26 April 2026, the Armenian College and Philanthropic Academy solemnly observed Armenian Genocide Commemoration Day at the Armenian Holy Church of Nazareth at 9:30 a.m. Following the Holy Mass, an Intercessory Prayer Service was reverently conducted in front of the memorial dedicated to the martyrs of the Armenian Genocide.

Thereafter, the congregation, together with members of the school staff and the students, offered floral tributes at the memorial, paying homage to the sacred memory of the martyrs with profound reverence, dignity, and respect.

Academic and Student Development Review Meeting

The Academic and Student Development Review Meeting at Armenian College and Philanthropic Academy was convened on 20th April 2026 at 3:00 PM, bringing together the management and teaching faculty to review and reflect on the institution’s academic progress.

The meeting was chaired by Very Reverend Father Dajad Tsaturyan (Pastor of Armenians in India and Manager of Armenian College and Philanthropic Academy). He was joined by Reverend Father Petros Kadeyan and Respected Deacon Zakara Tadevosyan along with the Principal, Mrs. Debanjali Chowdhury and members of the teaching staff.

The meeting focused on reviewing the academic progress and overall development of the students. Constructive discussions were held on strategies to enhance learning outcomes, with special attention directed towards supporting and guiding academically weaker students.

The session concluded with a shared commitment to continue fostering both academic excellence and holistic development among the students.
