The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) at IIM Calcutta seeks to foster the spirit of Entrepreneurship amongst aspirant entrepreneurs by exposing them to the joys and challenges of having their own ventures. To this end we focus on working on all that we feel an aspiring entrepreneur needs in terms of knowledge, skills and exposu
re. We do this by bringing together the people with the ideas, the people with the experience and those with the resources. The E-Cell is strongly backed by its Patron organizations TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) and NEN (The National Entrepreneurship Network), who work towards fostering entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking, educating, inspiring and supporting the next generation of potentially high-growth entrepreneurs in India. Renowned for its B-plan contest i2I, the new slew of events that the Entrepreneurship Cell has conducted this year which have met unprecedented success and the international E Summit series, all a reflection of the fact that entrepreneurship as a career is spreading rapidly in Indian B-Schools, E Cell is among the most prestigious clubs of IIM C.
