The Peace Mission, 2013 Welcome to The Peace Mission, 2013, the third edition of a Model United Nations hosted and organized organized by St. Thomas’ Boys’ School, Kidderpore.

The Peace Mission, 2013 is the third edition of the Model United Nations (M.U.N.) A Model United Nations is where the committees of the peacekeeping organization, the United Nations, are simulated and debate is held upon topics of vital importance to world peace. Delegates from various schools take part in this three-day event representing countries in their respective committees and propagating t

heir ideas while adhering to their respective foreign policies. They strive to pass a resolution at the end of the three days which would prove to be a concrete solution to ending the problem being debated upon. The Peace Mission, 2013 promises a high, competitive level of debating coupled with excellent Opening and Closing Ceremonies to ensure a truly grand experience for every participant. The dates for The Peace Mission, 2013 are the 5th, 6th and 7th of July, 2013. The committees to be simulated are :
1. Security Council
2. Human Rights Council
3. The All-India Meet, 1944
4. Counter-Terrorism Committee

Thank you for being a part of The Peace Mission, 2013. The past three days have been an exhilarating experience for the entire Peace Mission Team. With The Peace Mission starting tomorrow, we would like to wish you all the very best and hope that you will help us make this event a grand success. Please note that Registration will last from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM. All observers are requested to be dressed in school uniforms. We look forward to seeing you and hope that the next three days will be memorable both, for you and for us, the students of St. Thomas' Boys' School.

Please note that the Orientation will be held this Saturday, the 29th, from 2 PM to 3 PM inside the school premises. Parliamentary procedure will be explained in detail and any doubts you may have regarding committee proceedings will be cleared. All participants are requested to be in school uniforms.

Also note that the deadline for the submission of Position Papers is the 29th of June, Saturday, 11:59 PM (IST). Position Papers are to be sent to the following e-mail IDs :
