20th December, 2025: Jio World Convention Centre - Mumbai, one of Asia's largest luxury convention centre, hospitality and retail space conducted its first campus recruitment drive in collaboration with the Emporium Skills Training Institute (ESTI-Shillong), Don Bosco Youth Centre, Laitumkhrah, Shillong.

Total 111 candidates participated in the interview and finally after 3 rounds of interview, total 20 of them got selected. Offer letters were issued on the spot. Selected candidates have been offered handsome salaries along with other benefits like accommodation, daily transportation, on duty meals, medical insurance coverage for self & family, joining air ticket and various other statutory benefits like provident fund, gratuity etc. These 20 selected candidates of Jio World Convention Centre will be joining on the 19th of January, 2026 subject to clearance of medical fitness and other clearances as specified by the company.

Earlier this year, Don Bosco Youth Centre, Shillong signed MoU with Emporium Skills Training Institute (ESTI). Through this initiative, ESTI has been skilling candidates from all over Meghalaya and providing employment opportunities to educated unemployed youths in the field of Aviation, Hospitality & Cruiseline sectors.
