AGE GROUP- 1 TO 3 YEARS

SPECIAL INTERACTIVE MUSIC WORKSHOP- BY TIME
ELUMINARTY believes in learning with fun! So we get wiser by being creative!
A trip under the sea is a music based workshop for one to three year olds. During this workshop we introduce your toddlers to sea animals by narrating short musical stories to them. We will be learning about a host of sea animals from a starfish to an octopus, a shark to a clown fish.
When learning a song, a musical instrument, or a dance step, your child experiences the unique integration of body and mind that music provides. Sensory integration is a crucial factor in children's learning readiness for school subjects such as reading, writing, basic communication and understanding. The best way to enhance your child's learning with music is to encourage listening to and learning music throughout the child's developmental years. So even if your one year old is not ‘paying attention’ at the workshop their minds are alert and with music as an aid they learn better.
Anita Basu Mallick from the Institute of Music and Expression- Western Contemporary Music School founded by professional musicians, offering accredited certifications under Rockschool UK, Trinity, LMC and ABRSM- will be conducting the music workshop.
We would request an adult to accompany the child as it’s wonderful to watch your child learn and your presence being the encouragement to help them learn better.
Looking forward to a fun filled experience on Friday 31 May 2013 at Young Minds International (9A Short Street, Kolkata-700016) from 4-5.30 pm.
