IEI students don't worry, IEI will get recognition by AICTE , previously it was recognized by MHRD ( up to 31st May, 2013) , UPSC and many Govt organizations... but now gradually MHRD has given its power to Aicte so, this happened; but IEI was established by the Royal Charter in 1935 by the Britishers so it's very much recognized and not at all a fake institute.....it's throughout India....it's exams are, much more tougher than BE ....so comment wisely..

You work somewhere and without leaving the job you can study and clear AMIE. It's the advantage of IEI....
