Department of Computer Science and Engineering -Data Science-FIEM

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science) and the Department of Information Technology jointly organized the Elite Cricket Cup 2026 on 14th May 2026 at the FIEM Ground from 11:00 AM onwards. The tournament was conducted successfully with enthusiastic participation from students. The event aimed to encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and interaction among students and faculty members.

We are pleased to announce that the students of the CSE (Data Science) Department emerged as the Champions of the Elite Cricket Cup 2026, demonstrating excellent teamwork and dedication throughout the tournament. The students of the Information Technology Department secured the Runners-up Trophy with a commendable performance.

The event concluded on a successful note with active participation, healthy competition, and memorable experiences for everyone involved.

This is to inform you that the 2-Day Workshop on “Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security Development,” conducted on 21st–22nd April 2026 by CSE (DS) Department, has been successfully completed.
The workshop provided participants with valuable insights into the fundamentals of ethical hacking, cyber security practices, and emerging threats in the digital landscape. The sessions were highly interactive and enriched with practical demonstrations, enabling attendees to gain hands-on exposure and a deeper understanding of the subject.
We are pleased to share that the event witnessed active participation and engagement from students, making it a fruitful and informative experience for all involved.

Industrial Visit 2026 - Department of CSE (Data Science) The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science), Future Institute of Engineering & Management (FIEM), successfully organized an industrial visit on 16th April 2026 to Techno Exponent and Euphoria GenX. The primary objective of this visit was to provide students with meaningful exposure to real-world industry practices, technological workflows, and professional environments.

Such initiatives play a crucial role in bridging the gap between academic learning and practical implementation, enabling students to better understand the application of theoretical concepts in the industry. The interaction with industry professionals also offered valuable insights into current trends and expectations in the field of Data Science and software development.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Techno Exponent and Euphoria GenX for their warm hospitality and for facilitating an enriching learning experience. We also commend the efforts of the faculty coordinators and participating students for contributing to the success of this industrial visit.
