Sanghamitra Sinha has travelled the world with the Late Ananada Shankar from the tender age of 14 as a part of the latter's dance troupe that requires no introduction.She has performed in more than 30 countries over a professional career spanning 25 years. Along the way, she has mastered various dance forms, namely contemporary and western. Her achievements in the field of the Performing Arts were

rewarded when she receive a full scholarship to pursue a course at the Ailey School, the official school of Alvin Ailey, one of the best known dancers of his era.
